Terms of service

These terms cover your use of OS DEPT (osdept.com and every workspace on it), run by STOODIOOS LLC (“we”). By accessing or using OS DEPT you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you agree on that business’s behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
The service
OS DEPT gives your business a private workspace that connects to tools you already use, such as Shopify, Klaviyo and Google Analytics, and shows that data in one place. What your plan includes is set out in your agreement with us or on our pricing page.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe and only invite people you trust. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace. Tell us at os@osdept.com if you think someone has accessed it without permission.
Your data
Your data stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to connect the tools and data you bring in.
Connected tools
Shopify, Klaviyo, Google and other connected tools are run by their own companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages or changes, though we will do our best to keep connections working.
AI features and insights
OS DEPT includes AI features, such as Ask, daily notes, summaries, insights and forecasts, that read your business’s own data and describe it.
- Information only. Everything these features show or write is provided for information only. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, employment or business advice, and it is not a recommendation to take or avoid any action.
- Check before you act. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and they are only as good as the data your connected tools provide. Verify anything important against your own records before relying on it.
- Professional advice. For financial, investment, tax, legal or employment decisions, speak to a qualified professional, such as an accountant, lawyer or financial adviser.
Your decisions
You and your business are solely responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take, including any based on OS DEPT, its reports or its AI outputs, and for making sure they suit your circumstances and comply with the law.
Fair use
Don’t use OS DEPT to break the law, send spam, harm others, or try to get into data or systems you are not allowed to access.
Payment and cancelling
Plans are billed monthly unless agreed otherwise. You can cancel at any time; your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. On request we will export or delete your data.
Availability
We work to keep OS DEPT available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither OS DEPT nor STOODIOOS LLC is liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, OS DEPT or its outputs, including AI answers, insights and forecasts, or from any decision or action taken on the strength of them. This includes lost profits, revenue, savings, data or goodwill, and any indirect or consequential loss. Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Agreement and consent
By signing in to, accessing or using OS DEPT, you confirm that you have read these terms, and you, your business and every person who uses your workspace agree to them and consent to them, including the AI features and the limits on our liability above. Workspace owners are responsible for making sure the people they invite accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use OS DEPT.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell workspace owners before it takes effect. Using OS DEPT after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
